Anxiety is a program the subconscious creates to keep us away from something that could hurt us, either emotionally, physically or a belief. Emotionally the hurt could come from being rejected as a child but when we become an adult if it looks like we could get rejected then the subconscious mind would create the anxiety feeling to keep us away from being rejected and it works. Physically we may have gotten bitten by a dog that both scared us and physically hurt us. When we become an adult that program is still embedded within our subconscious mind and the minute we see a dog we will feel the anxiety feeling. Anxiety is there to protect us from something that could hurt us, like a dog. Beliefs are powerful and most beliefs are negative, so when we come head on to one of the negative beliefs the anxiety feeling pops up telling us to move away.
